You've posted a YouTube video on controlling 12v lights with the BlueSpray controller and I have 2 questions about it.

1. You used an expansion port and powered that port with 12V  (not clear on whether it was 12V DC or AC).  Was it required that you use an expansion port because you used 12V instead of 24V?  I have a 24 port controller and would like to control lights.

2. How much current can pass through the controller?  It would seem that to operate several lights, even LEDs, that you would quickly exceed 1amp.  Perhaps it is possible to have the current that is required to operate the lights NOT pass through the controller at all, and the controller just acts like an electronic switch?

3. How did you add a lightbulb icon? In your video, it was just there.

Yes, we use an expansion module and power it with a 12V AC transformer that comes with the light.  It was done to demonstrate the software capability of the controller only.  It is not recommended for real usage.

We're currently working on a lightning module.  It will be a smart module that would take command from the controller and control lights.

The light icon will appear when the light module is plugged in.
