Winterizing

I still use my installer to once a year blow out my system for the winter.  He always instructs me to unplug the timer and of course shut off the water.  He installed my original system and controller.  He is unaware of me installing the BlueSray.  Is it necessary to unplug the BlueSpray?  I won't have a program running.  The old controller was mostly mechanical.

No, you don't, and should not unplug the controller.  If you don't have any scheduled run for the winter, it won't run at all.  If you still want it off, just click on the power icon on the UI and it will suspend all watering until you click on it again.
